STOMACH
Your stomach is where your Instincts rest until they are summoned. When there is potential threat—psychological or physical—the instincts are always aroused. If you have a hard time knowing:
—When to Stay, or When to Go—
—When to say Yes, or When to say No—
then you are not in tune with your Instincts. If that’s the case, you may have a hard time surviving the Threat—if one should befall you.
You learned tiny steps to help you see the outside of your body. It is now time to recognize the inside, beginning with your stomach.
Many holy ways start with the head, or the word, or the breath, but here we are going to begin with the good ol’ gut.
That’s where all the feelings are isn’t it?
The stomach always burns when we are emotionally nervous or excited. (Ever notice that hollow heat, right in the center of your torso, when something serious—or nerve-wracking—enters your world?) Whether or not we’re able to feel the burn has to do with Attention.
If we pay attention to what’s happening inside our stomachs, we can feel everything. We can feel the Truth instantly—for the Instincts live inside our stomachs, and know all we need to survive.
Imagine your stomach—your belly—
the inside of your gut. The entire center of your body is breathing full of Light. See the swelling light—huge inside you, so you can see what your digestion is doing.
Is it bloated?
Is it full of gas?
Is it concaved and starving?
Is it stuffed?
Is it burning?
Is it moving in a flurry of directions
or is it in a slump?
Pay Attention and breathe. What does the inside of your stomach tell you?
Recall the last time your stomach was emptied. How did it feel, smell, and look. The grossness of this task is irrelevant, for what comes out of you is directly related to what You put into you. They’re called Bowel Movements, and they are the key to knowing the truth of your body. Observe what comes out of you to find the truth of your stomach, and open the door to your Instincts.
Open your hands—with all their healing power—and gently place them against the skin of your belly.
Breathe into your gut, and as you do, gently pat the flat of your palms against your abdomen. Create a soft rhythm that ripples into your digestion.
Let your stomach swell every time you inhale. Pay Attention to your air, as it swells inside your stomach.
Now fill your stomach with light.
See your stomach…
Swell your stomach—with Air, not Vices.
And keep breathing.
Keep patting.
Do not eat food unless you are hungry.
Learn to tell the difference between the hunger-burn and the nervous-burn. Usually the hunger-burn includes a mild weakness—as your body is running on empty.
Continue imagining a light in your Stomach, so it will warm you and aid in your healing digestion.
Now squeeze together your Butt Cheeks...
flop your Hands around...
stand on your Feet—toes gripping like talons...
and walk outside for a scan.
And don't forget to laugh!!!!!
Nose
Butt Cheeks
